Overview
The Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA will host a series of energy and climate focused events this September during Climate Week NYC. Climate Week NYC, which coincides with the United Nations General Assembly in New York, is one of the largest climate gatherings in the world and features programming throughout the week on myriad topics with the goal of addressing the most pressing climate challenges of today.
Throughout the week, CGEP will partner with leading stakeholders throughout the global energy and climate community, convening policymakers, industry leaders, scholars, and students to discuss key policy issues facing the global energy and climate community.
Topics highlighted within this year’s CGEP at Climate Week program include the future of United States and global energy and industrial policy, artificial intelligence and the energy transition, critical minerals supply chains, carbon markets, and the state of the global energy transition.
Be sure to see all our activities during the week below, and check back frequently for updates and new events. Please email [email protected] with any questions on CGEP’s programming this year at Climate Week.
